Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and StorieDev ("we", "us"), the registered trade name of Steven Storie, a sole proprietor in Massachusetts, operating Pixie Papercraft. By using Pixie Papercraft and placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to order. We use passwordless sign-in — keep access to your email secure, since anyone who can open your sign-in link can access your account. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Your design & content

You keep ownership of the photos and content you upload. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to use them, and you grant us a limited license to store, process, preview, and print them solely to create and deliver your planner and to keep operational backups. Don't upload content that infringes others' rights or is unlawful, hateful, or obscene. We may decline or cancel an order, or remove content, that violates these terms.

Made-to-order & proofs

Each planner is printed to order from the design you approve. The live preview is the print file, so you are responsible for reviewing your proof before ordering. See our Shipping, Returns & Reprints policy for timelines, defects, changes, and cancellations.

Pricing & payment

Prices are shown before checkout and may change over time. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. Because items are made to order, sales are final except as described in our Shipping, Returns & Reprints policy.

Digital editions

If you buy a downloadable PDF edition, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own planning. Because it's delivered digitally and immediately, it's non-refundable once made available to you. Don't redistribute, resell, or publish the file.

Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable toward orders on Pixie Papercraft. They carry no expiration date and remain redeemable indefinitely — meeting and exceeding Massachusetts's requirement that a gift certificate be valid for at least seven years from issuance (M.G.L. c. 200A, § 5D; c. 266, § 75C) — and we charge no dormancy or service fees. Once a gift card has been redeemed for at least 90% of its face value, you may elect to receive the remaining balance in cash. Gift cards can't be reloaded, aren't otherwise redeemable for cash, and a lost or stolen code can't be replaced, so treat it like cash. Promo and discount codes have no cash value and may be limited, changed, or discontinued at any time.

If it arrives wrong — our reprint promise

If a planner arrives with a printing or binding defect, or doesn't match the proof you approved, tell us within 90 days of delivery and we'll reprint and reship it at no cost to you — or refund it if we can't put it right. This is why we keep your print files for that long after an order: we can't reprint a book whose files we've already destroyed. After that window the files are deleted and a reprint is no longer possible.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — no attempts to disrupt it, reverse the print pipeline to self-produce, or resell proofs. The on-screen proof preview is watermarked and provided for review only.

Your responsibility for content

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and costs arising out of content you upload or your misuse of the service — including any claim that your content infringes someone's rights.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Pixie Papercraft infringes your copyright, write to us at support@pixiepapercraft.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised. We'll look into it, and we'll remove or disable anything that shouldn't be there. If we remove something you uploaded, we'll tell you and you can respond.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law, including the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 93A).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there.

Time limit on claims

Any claim arising out of these terms or your use of Pixie Papercraft must be brought within one year of when it arose, to the extent that limit is enforceable where you live. Nothing here shortens a period that Massachusetts law does not allow us to shorten.

If we have to end things

We may suspend or close an account that is using the service in breach of these terms — for example uploading content we're not allowed to print, or attempting to disrupt the service. Where the circumstances allow it we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account we'll still fulfil or refund any order you've already paid for, and you can export your data before you go.

Things outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including our print or shipping partners' outages, carrier disruption, natural events, or failures of infrastructure we rely on. If something like that stops us delivering your order, we'll tell you and refund you.

Transferring these terms

You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer them to a successor if the business is sold or reorganised — your orders and your rights under these terms carry over unchanged.

If part of this doesn’t hold

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands, and that part is treated as narrowed to whatever the law does allow rather than struck out entirely.

The whole agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Shipping, Returns & Reprints policy, are the whole agreement between us about Pixie Papercraft, and replace anything said beforehand. If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the date above when we do; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
