Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pixie Papercraft collects, why, and the control you have over your data. We collect only what we need to build and ship your planner and run the business — nothing is sold to anyone.

What we collect

Your account email (for passwordless sign-in and order updates); the planner designs you create; and the photos you upload to put in your planner. When you order, we also collect your shipping address, gift message (if any), and a payment confirmation from our processor — we never see or store full card numbers. If you contact support or leave a review, we keep what you send us.

How we use it

To render and print your planner, fulfill and ship orders, send order and shipping notifications and any re-order reminders you opt into, answer support requests, and operate, secure, and improve the service.

Cookies & analytics

We use a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and first-party analytics to understand how the builder and checkout are used (e.g. how many people reach checkout). This uses a random visitor id, not third-party ad trackers, and we don't use it to follow you around the web.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to deliver your order, each with the minimum data required: our payment processor (Stripe), our print and fulfillment partner (Lulu), and our email and hosting providers. They process your data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Reviews are public

If you submit a review, the rating, text, any name or photo you include, and that it's from a verified buyer may be displayed publicly on the storefront once approved. Don't include anything in a review you wouldn't want shown publicly.

Your choices & rights

From your account you can manage and delete your saved designs, opt out of reminder emails, download a copy of all your data, and delete your account entirely. Deleting your account removes your saved designs and the photos you uploaded, and de-identifies your activity. Past orders are kept for legal and accounting records but stripped of your personal details (name, email, and shipping address). You can also email us to make any access, correction, or deletion request.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, designs, and photos for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Order and payment records are kept as required by tax and accounting law (generally several years) even after account deletion, in de-identified form.

Your saved designs are deleted as soon as you delete them or close your account. Your PRINT FILES — the photos and the composed book behind an order — are kept for 90 days after that, and then permanently deleted. That window is our reprint promise: if a book arrives damaged, misprinted, or not matching your proof, we can reprint it from the original files rather than asking you to rebuild it. We can't reprint a book whose files we've already destroyed, which is the only reason we hold them at all. After 90 days they're gone and a reprint is no longer possible.

Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll update the date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here.
